CAST AUDITIONS JUNE 10, 7 PM FOR UPCOMING NEW PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL     Cast auditions will be held on Sunday, June 10th, at 7 p.m., at Pistarckle Theater, 4126 Anna's Retreat (Tillett Gardens),   St. Thomas, for the upcoming fourth annual New Playwrights Festival ( NPF ).  All island actors and those interested in acting - men, women, and children - should attend the auditions. The NPF format is a staged reading, so no lines/script memorizing will be required. Earlier this year, Pistarckle issued a call for new never-produced or staged plays, written by Virgin Islands adults and youth, with entries reviewed by the Festival committee. During the NPF, there will be featured readings from amongst select chosen original drama and/or comedy plays that were submitted by Virgin Islands youth and adult playwrights.  In past years, select plays submitted to the  NPF  have progressed to a full onstage production at Pistarckle, including Alternative Facts by Matthew Hamilton-Kraft, Catch and Keep by Susan Hunter, and Sad Mangoes by Stacey A. Bryan.
