SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 6 pm ACTOR AUDITIONS!   Pistarckle Theater announces auditions for Arsenic and Old Lace, the hilarious and mischievous classic dark comedy by Joseph Kesselring on Saturday, September 22, at 6 pm in the Theater at Tillett Gardens, 4126 Anna's Retreat in St. Thomas.  Casting is open to all. The cast of characters include:  Abbey and Martha Brewster: two middle-aged charmingly eccentric sisters who poison elderly men.  Mortimer Brewster: their Theater Critic nephew who is at his wits end trying to keep their secret.  Teddy Brewster: The eccentric nephew who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt.  Jonathan Brewster: The black sheep nephew who looks and sounds exactly like Boris Karloff.  Dr. Einstein: Jonathan's German henchman.  Elaine Harper: Mortimer’s educated and well healed girlfriend.  Supporting roles include: 4 Police officers (Male or Female): Lieutenant Rooney; Officers Brophy, Klein, and O’Hara: your typical slightly dimwitted beat cops; Rev. Dr. Harper (Elaine’s father); and Mr. Witherspoon, Mr. Gibbs two elderly victims of Abbey and Martha.
