2019 Annual Fundraiser Nets over $20,000

The June 1, 2019 Annual Fundraiser to benefit the Pistarckle Theater Youth Education and Enrichment Programs was an overwhelming success, netting just over $20,000 in much-needed funds.

Honored at this year’s event was Nicola ‘Nikki’ Emerich, Founder and Artistic Producer, who will be retiring this year. Other honorees included the late Brian Emerich (May 2018) and the late B. Greg Miller (December 2018)

Much thanks to everyone who volunteered to produce and present this event, to the guests, donors of silent/live auction items, those who placed ads for the Commemorative Program, to Certified Auctioner Jay Matthews of SOLD, Inc., to Musican/Composer Eddie Kusar and his Radical Excess Band, and past cast members who enchanged guests with songs from past plays.

Honoree the late Brian Emerich (May 2018) was one of the founding members of Pistarckle Theater in 1991, an architect/entrepreneur, Rotarian, community-spirited activist, beloved husband of Nikki Emerich for 38 years, and father to two grown children, Alex and Maxine.

Honoree the late B. Greg Miller (December 2018), was a long time theater patron, supporter, donor, Board member, business owner, community activist, sometime political candidate, and Rotary East of St. Thomas Rotarian. He had an endearing love for all youth, and was instrumental in helping launch and support many youth-oriented programs.
